Q
How often should I change my pump oil?
A
Most pumps we sell should have their oil changed after a 50 hour break-in and every 500 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first. Be advised, some pumps have a lifetime oil and won't need replacing during the service life of the pump.
Q
How often should I change my engine oil?
A
As always, it's best to consult your owners manual, but most engines suggest changing engine oil after a break-in of 5-20 hours and every 100 hours or 6 months, whichever comes first.
Q
Why should I buy nozzles from Dalco?
A
While most nozzles appear to be the same, our team will help you select a nozzle that matches the flow and pressure of your particular machine. This ensures you are protecting your equipment and achieving the maximum cleaning potential.
Q
What type of oil does my pressure washer use?
A
First off, your pressure washer's engine uses a different oil than the pump unit. Most gasoline engines we see on pressure washers specify a 10w-30 oil. However, there's much less consistency with the type of oil used in your pump. It's best to contact us with your model number ready.
